The Manchester City Football Club Academy is the English professional football club that is based out of the city of Manchester. It was originally formed in the 1880s by St. Marks and later renamed in the year 1887 as Ardwick A.F.C. The club is at the moment a member of the English Premier League, which is quite prestigious.
It finally changed its name to Manchester City Football Club in the year 1894 and this name has remained since then. The club has gone ahead to win several prestigious cups and has maintained its count of many a trophy. However, after 1976 the club run out of luck and did not win many honors. The club has been on the decline and was able to bounce back to its former glory. The home colors of the team are a light blue jersey and white shorts. The other colors are a striped torso of black and red with black sleeves and black shorts. They also have a third color of a red and black jersey with black shorts.
